2025-2026 Theme Verse
Colossians 2:6-7: “So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Colossians 2:6–7 captures the heartbeat of our mission. As students come to know Christ and walk with Him, they become rooted and built up in their faith. From that foundation, they discover the purpose God has placed within them. And as their faith strengthens, their lives naturally overflow into service—making a difference in the world for His glory.

Chapel
At Calvary Christian School, our deepest desire is that every student would truly know God—not simply learn about Him, but encounter Him personally. We believe that a vibrant relationship with Jesus is the foundation for a life of purpose, character, and service. Through intentional rhythms of worship, prayer, biblical teaching, and Christ-centered community, we guide students to become rooted in their faith, strengthened in truth, and equipped to live out the hope of the gospel. As they grow in their knowledge of God’s love, their lives naturally overflow with gratitude and a desire to impact the world for His glory.
Service
At CCS, we believe that genuine service is the natural overflow of a heart transformed by God’s love. As students grow in their relationship with Christ, gratitude moves them outward—compelling them to notice needs, extend compassion, and act with purpose. Serving others isn’t an add‑on to our mission; it’s a living expression of it. When students put their faith into action, they discover that God uses their gifts, kindness, and courage to make a real difference in the world around them. Through service, they learn that following Jesus means becoming His hands and feet wherever He leads.

Spiritual Emphasis Week
At the core of our mission at CCS is our goal to support students to KNOW GOD. Spiritual Emphasis Week strengthens our mission by giving students the chance to truly know God in the biblical sense of the word. In scripture, "knowing" God is not just learning about Him, it's entering into relationship with Him, experiencing His character, and responding to His covenant love. By creating intentional time and space for worship, prayer, and quiet reflection, we help students move beyond head knowledge into genuine connection.
