At Calvary Christian High School, students will experience student-centered learning that is inquiry-based, interactive, full-of-service learning, and rooted in biblical foundation.
Our Six Core Values of Honor, Health, Growth, Generosity, Fun, and Excellence articulate the culture here in Calvary. Since 1980, Calvary Christian School has successfully prepared students for their next level of learning.
Calvary's calling is to continue that work refining grades 9-12 with students who know the Lord, recognize a Christ-purpose-driven life, are refined as high-achieving learners, and who will exit into the world to make a difference. These young adults will head into the world ready for the next step of learning in college, actively entering into their career, who are passionate about the calling in their life, tenacious for continued growth, trained to give generously back to God, and who bring excellence in all they say and do. THIS is Calvary High School.

ACADEMICS
At CCHS, we provide academic excellence and spiritual growth in a nurturing environment. Our curriculum has been thoughtfully designed to integrate a robust biblical worldview with rigorous state standards, ensuring that our students receive a well-rounded education that prepares them for success in both academic and personal spheres.
As students progress through our high school program, they engage with challenging coursework that meets Illinois state graduation requirements, is accredited through ACSI (Association of Christian Schools International), and encourages critical thinking, problem-solving, and a commitment to ethical decision-making. Our goal is to prepare students not only for success in higher education but also to be compassionate, responsible, and ethically grounded individuals who positively impact their communities.
At Calvary Christian School, athletics are more than competition—they’re a calling. Rooted in our core values of honor, generosity, excellence, health, and growth, our sports programs challenge students to glorify God through discipline, teamwork, and integrity.
We believe that physical training is valuable, but even more so is the development of character and faith. Scripture reminds us: "Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters." — Colossians 3:23
Whether on the field or court, our student-athletes strive for excellence while uplifting one another in Christ-like love. Through generous sportsmanship, honorable conduct, and a commitment to holistic health, they grow not only as athletes but as leaders prepared to impact the world for God’s glory.
Ready to compete with purpose? Join us in building champions who reflect Christ in every victory and every challenge.

COLLEGE & CAREER READINESS
Here at Calvary in Naperville, Southeastern University offers on-campus classes for Dual Enrollment Credit along with COD, Grand Canyon University and others. AP courses are offered as well for those interested. Our hope is that college-bound students will be tenacious about earning credits toward an Associates Degree before leaving Calvary High School. Calvary High School also employs a college/career counselor for the high school.
In addition to post-secondary courses, internships are a part of Calvary High School's student experience. Students are encouraged to complete an internship in their interest-based field. These can take place during school hours or outside of them. The idea is to allow students to “experience” their career interest, what that career entails, so that a student's conviction can grow or change before investing time and money into the training for that career and realizing that it's not what one thought it was. Internships also offer an authentic space for students to use their employability skills, network, and gain references to further their application processes.
Students interested in going directly into their career, a union, our nation's military, or mission work have the opportunity to plan for these next steps amongst their peers and alongside their families. Exposure of next steps, guest speakers, apprentice requirements, are a part of the career readiness that all students experience here at Calvary. As all students plan for their career, classes chosen, along with electives, a network of internships and the exposure of a Winter term for credit (EQUIP) allow students a rich preparedness for their future.
At Calvary Christian School, we want students to step into their future with clarity, confidence, and a sense of calling. Our program helps students explore their God‑given strengths, discover areas of interest, and gain real‑world insight into potential careers. Through hands‑on experiences, internships, EQUIP, and guided exploration, students begin to understand how their talents and passions can be used to make a meaningful impact in the world. CCS equips them not only for college and future work, but for a life of purpose rooted in who God created them to be.
Student success is strengthened when academic, personal, and college‑readiness support work hand in hand. At CCS, our Student Services team partners with families to ensure every student has the tools they need to thrive. Our Academic Services Coordinator serves as a liaison with District 204, oversees student accommodations, and helps create individualized support plans that promote confidence and growth. Our Guidance Counselor walks alongside students as they prepare for life after high school—providing college and career guidance, coordinating PSAT and SAT testing, and helping students explore their next steps with clarity and purpose. Together, these services reflect our commitment to supporting the whole student, both now and for the future.
EQUIP is a two‑week January term at Calvary Christian High School designed to help students discover their purpose, grow in their gifts, and engage in meaningful discipleship opportunities not available during the regular academic year. Week One is open to both junior high and high school students, while Week Two is designed specifically for high school.
Week One: Exploration & Skill‑Building
During the first week of EQUIP, junior high and high school students choose from a variety of classes led by CCS teachers and professionals from outside industries. These courses allow students to explore their passions, develop new interests, and build practical skills in a low‑pressure environment. This year’s offerings included bucket drumming, foods class, chess, golf, bowling, sewing, cosmetology, coding, and opportunities to assist in early elementary classrooms.
Week Two: Ministry Pathways with Calvary Church
In the second week, Calvary Church partners with CCS to give high school students an extraordinary opportunity to explore the many facets of church ministry. Students participate in classes such as Communication & Creative Arts, Kids Ministry, Youth Ministry, Mental Health, IT, Production Ministry, Worship Ministry, Discipleship, and Finance. Throughout the week, they hear staff testimonies about coming to Christ, discovering their God‑given gifts, and using those gifts to serve others.

Our Purpose
As part of our mission to help students discover their purpose and make a difference in the world, EQUIP engages students through coursework, internships, service, and mission experiences that deepen their faith and broaden their understanding of how God can work through them.
